Anyone buying ammo today (prior to tomorrow)?
 
I see that ammunitionstore.com is on "vacation" until 1 Sept, when they plan to reopen with "many new items." Hmmm. Me thinks their prices will have jumped up once their online store reappears. As a hedge, I'm buying what I need right now.

Anyone else placing orders before tomorrow rolls around (if you feel comfortable saying so, I mean)..?

My grab the last good rounds of ball ammo from my local dealer about a week ago or so.

I went by Wal-Mart today at lunch and bought some "precious metals". :wink:

400 rds. 9mm WWB @ 15.72/100
200 rds. .45 ACP Blazer @ 11.97/50
100 rds. .223 UMC @ 6.47/20
100 rds. .22 mag. @ 8.27/50 (WOW! I hadn't bought any .22 mag. in a while.)

:D I laid in some extra powder and lead shot last week before the rocket took off.

I checked last night and prices jumped roughly 20% since last Friday.

I talked with my local gun dealer and he says expect another 25% by Christmas at the rate things are going.

Powder and Primer deliveries are running two weeks behind normal.

The shape of things to come... ?

I hope not folks.

I snagged half a case each of Aguila 9mm and .45 ACP, plus two 700-round spam cans of Russian 762 x 39...

I cleaned out their Federal 22lr yesterday

BTW - Walmart update - 2 local WalMart's near me still selling guns...a good sign.

I can't find Federal "Tactical Bonded" 9mm in stock anywhere around here. Everything else I'm well stocked up on, but I'd like some of that "smart" bonded ammo for my 9s.

Really considering getting some 9mm, and some 7.62x39. I don't even have a 9mm, but I think I might buy a kel-tec sub 2000 today. I'll get some +P+ ammo and some regular ammo if I get one.
